According to Dockett and his twitter account, the Redskins have been a mess of late.

He spoke with Lavar Arrington on 106.7 in Washington and stated that he'd have doubts about playing with the Redskins even though he grew up in the area.

He praised the city and the fans but brought down the teams culture and coaching staff.

"There's a lot of things I don't like, there's a lot of things they do that I couldn't accept as being a leader. You know, I've never seen an organization that would go out and lose on Sunday and throw a party Sunday night after a loss and party all week. Like, I couldn't adapt to that, and I think that's one of the reasons that I couldn't be a part of an organization, of how they carry their organization."

He continued;

"I think to a lot of guys on that team, winning games don't mean anything. I think partying and getting paid is a big part to most of the guys on that team," Dockett said.

He didn't say what Redskins he was referring to, but he did say that he couldn't play with Clinton Portis.

"From what I'm hearing in the locker room, me personally, I couldn't play with a guy like that," Dockett said.  "I've never played, since I've been in the NFL, with a guy that selfish, I've never played with guys where it was all about them, I've never played with guys that don't practice."

Portis Wants a Heavy Load

Clinton Portis wants everyone to know: He’s only 28.

Word around NFL circles this past off-season was that Portis, a two-time Pro Bowler, was slowing down and that the Redskins would use Ladell Betts to relieve Portis of some of the load.

Portis was having none of that, though, especially one year after rushing for more than 1,400 yards and being selected Second Team All-Pro.
“I have been around a long time, because I came into the league when I was 20,” Portis said. “People don’t realize I’m still only 28. I’ve been banged up a lot but I can still go out there and give you everything I’ve got.

“The best season I ever had statistically was 1,591 yards. Last year I had about 1,491. That’s 100 off my best season. I’ll take that anytime.”

The 5-11, 220-pound back ripped off a 34-yard run the first time he touched the ball this season, against the Giants in the season opener. But the Redskins were forced to go away from the running game after falling behind, 17-0, and ended up losing, 23-17.

Portis finished with 16 carries for 62 yards and one reception for 10 yards. No other Redskin had more than two carries.

The Redskins play host to the St. Louis Rams (0-1) on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST.
